Our Sunset DreamsA Poem by Melinda McQueenOur Sunset Dreams
In the sea of you and me There is a gulf in the straights. A span of the world lain out, For us to intake.
As water moves to and fro, Crashing over stones beside the sea. It gives place to Our sunset dreams.
Though troubles arise And life leaps against us, Let our love sail through Winds strong… and be victorious.
Like the beauty in the orange hue Which lays the sun to sleep in peace, May we too, set in motion Our sunset dreams.
In peaceful lull, Let us surrender our love. As the water finds the tide, So too, are we enough.
Diving faith first, In the sea of you and me. Let us take on the world with Our sunset dreams.
