A Castle in the SandA Poem by Melinda McQueenA Castle in the Sand
A
light wind blew through her hair, But her mind spun with thoughts in a blur.
A
girl of twenty, she had so much raging inside, To
go away for a while,
Like
the sand along the shore, she had many dreams, She
couldn’t see what the future held,
A
woman of forty-two, some of her dreams have come true, Pressing
on, she delights in her blessings,
Being
delicately built, None
will take her down,
Trusting
in the Lord,
