I Can't Lose for WinningA Poem by Melinda McQueenI Can’t Lose for Winning
My pastor’s sermon got me thinking… How blessed I am to belong to the Lord. How gracious is He-- Who sent His Word.
With my eyes on my Savior, Through the years my doubts thinning And my faith growing. I can’t lose for winning.
God’s hand on me, I can conquer what life dishes. For I know He sustains my soul, And He my soul cherishes.
Come what may, To my Creator will my heart sing. With my Lord daily--no, hourly--at my side, I can’t lose for winning.
He’s delivered my soul And hears when I’m calling. He’s aware of my every need, And catches me when I’m falling
Rejoice, my soul, For great is my King! Because the Lord is with me, I can’t lose for winning.
