Genuine Love

 

Drawn together

By a force strong.

A reckoning of hearts,

Delivered to where they belong.

 

Long awaited,

Now has love blossomed.

As a fountain which was once denied water,

Now pours into genuine love.

 

Where a million stars are in a lover’s eye,

Where words need not spoken.

Where time holds its breath,

And where a look floods an ocean.

 

Showing its humble face,

Yet not giving up its power.

Always knowing its truth,

Genuine love never cowers.

 

It slices through the marrow,

Making even rough exterior weak.

Tantalizing the senses

Until nothing else competes.

A need to be set free,

It shows that it’s always enough.

How deeply moving…

Genuine love.
