Come What May

Come What May

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Come What May

A beautiful sunny day,

Or an overcast sky full of rain.

A quiver filled with happiness,

Or a failed conquest.

To be hungry,

To be filled assuredly.

Whatever my state, let me say,

“Come what may.”

My hope is in the Lord,

In His proclaimed Word.

Let my praise reach His ear,

My heart’s song may He hear.

My happiest days gladly call to Him,

My darkest days trusts His light to never dim.

Forever He’s to be praised,

Came what may.

Let me rejoice whether I lose or gain,

As I know the power in my Jesus’s Name.

Whether I stand or fall,

He’s with me through it all.

Glory sits upon the throne,

Righting every wrong.

As long as the Lord reigns,

Forever I’ll say, “Come what may.”

Amazing movement of words and thoughts.
"Glory sits upon the throne,
Righting every wrong.
As long as the Lord reigns,
Forever I’ll say, “Come what may.”
I adored the above lines. Thank you dear Melinda for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.
