A Dance in RhymeA Poem by Melinda McQueenA Dance in Rhyme
Twirling ’round and ’round, she dances as never before. For this, she has waited-- the moment her soul implored.
As she moves to the music, she’s never felt more alive. All else dims in comparison-- a dance in rhyme.
Feeling as free as a bird, she dances with all she has. Her movements no longer restricted, as in the glow she basks.
All her cares have ceased, as she dances in great strides. Light on her feet--- a dance in rhyme.
The music, pure heavenly, as she sweeps and twirls. Her heart is filled with happiness she’s never felt in the world.
Now, she’s here with Him, dancing before her Lord, glorified. She has left her chair in that other world for a dance in perfect rhyme.
