When You FellA Poem by Melinda McQueenWhen You Fell
My heart skipped a beat, It was sudden, humbling Little by little, You were tumbling.
I watched as your resolve gave way, And you lost all control of yourself. I admit it… I was giddy When you fell.
It was indeed something to behold, A force too big to stop. I didn’t try to steady you, But was overjoyed when you dropped!
I hope you didn’t mind My moment of glee. For I was over the moon When you fell in love with me.
