Touching Heaven

Touching Heaven

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Touching Heaven

Singing of song,

Reaching far away parts.

Seeking to ever be

Tucked inside the Savior’s heart.

We cry “Abba”,

And the Father hears from on high.

Prayers go straight to the Lord;

Touching Heaven where love resides.

With all the world in uproar,

And tension and stress rear ugly heads,

Look to the One

Who is our home and stead.

Spilling out hearts

Unto the Keeper of our souls,

Find we peace;

Touching Heaven ev’r known.

In humbled prayer,

In daily commune,

He’s never far away.

God ever true.

Filling us

With His mercy and love nev’r to end,

He welcomes His children beloved;

Touching Heaven.

Your faith sustains you in troubled times. That is indeed a blessing for you. A most uplifting poem Melinda. Nicely composed.
