Healer of Me

Healer of Me

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Healer of Me

All powerful from everlasting,

Your strength sustains.

When all else fails,

Your might remains.

I need You ev’ry hour,

Have Your way in me.

I long to honor You in my life;

Heal this body.

Let it be a temple unto You,

Use me to reach people.

Let Your honor come,

As I stand for You as tall as a steeple.

You are in control,

And I bow my life to Thee.

Make all my parts line up to Your will,

Healer of me.

You bore the stripes that set me free,

My healer is my Lord.

The One who took my sins

So I may live forever more.

Create in me a clean heart,

To praise You who’s worthy,

I lift my hands to You,

Healer of me.

Beautifully expressed Melinda. This poem conveys a strong faith. I do admire that in people.

'I lift my hands to YOU
Healer of me'

Uplifting and convincing.
