He Lives in MeA Poem by Melinda McQueenHe Lives in Me
He lives in me. What a thought. My mind cannot grasp Such a wondrous gift brought.
Yet, He is here, Closer than my heartbeat. Nearer than my next breath. He’s here, within my reach.
I am worthy, Only because when God looks upon me, He sees my sins no more, But sees the Blood of Christ covering me.
O how great is my Savior! Covering me daily, The Holy Spirit graces. He lives in me.
Never am I alone, His tender mercies are my supply. The ever-present God Who dwells in little me is God on high.
Though I could never deserve, I have access to the King of kings! My heart is ever bowed in reverence; He Lives in me.
