In the Secret Place

Inspired by Psalm 91

In the Secret Place

 

O how You lift my head

When I’m in dark times.

Comforting me, You’ve sustained me,

As You I always find.

 

Covering me with Your wings,

I’m sheltered by Your grace.

Let me ever take refuge

In the secret place.

 

I thank You, Lord,

For Your protection.

For leading me in the path

Of Your direction.

 

Angels have You put in charge over me,

To keep me in all Your ways.

Safely, am I found

In the secret place.

                              

My refuge, my fortress,

In You I hide…

And in You, am I found,

My King on high.

 

O how great you are,

I am alive only by Your grace.

For You have knitted me together

In the secret place.
