Reign in My HeartA Poem by Melinda McQueenReign in My Heart
The rain falls And I’m still here. It saturates my soul, Drowning me in fear.
Falling down around me, The droplets had become too much to bear. So I called out to You, my Lord… Reign in my heart… I need You near.
Though the rain still pours, I find my shelter in Your Name. When hard rain pounds, You still reign.
Wash over me Your gentle grace. Have Your way in me… Reign in my heart… as I seek Your face.
You, Lord, are my safety No matter the storm. I trust wholly in You To protect me from harm.
Your love pours down, And You’re forever here. It saturates this soul and
lights my dark…
