The HelperA Poem by Melinda McQueenThe Helper
The still, the quiet, The seeking of the higher. To be refined within, To be tried in fire.
Making anew The blessed hope. Through eyes of faith, The Truth we know.
A gentle whisper In times bleak. A word unto the soul When we know not what to speak.
Shed abroad In the hearts of man… The Holy Spirit communes In hearts’ now fruitful land.
No longer parched, Rather, saturated with grace. The Helper comes In His own special way.
