The Way of Forever

 

In my heart lives hope,

A knowing steadfast.

Never leaving, always conquering,

For in Him, there’s no lack.

 

 He has filled me with His Spirit,

Welcoming me into His protecting arms.

Leading me onward,

The way of forever lights the dark.

 

He has taken my shame

And washed me clean.

Longing to follow after He who saved my soul,

He who provided away for me.

 

With arms stretched wide,

He reached me by way of the cross.

Yes, He came low to set up His heights,

The way of forever is in His love taught.

 

So, let me tell of His love…

Of His power and might.

Lighting the way to grace,

That the truest love, all can find.

 

I’ve heard and seen that the Lord is good,

To His will I surrender.

Come follow the Savior,

The way of forever.
