Curls

Curls

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Curls

There once was a girl

With a head full of curls.

She decided to straighten

Her locks with a hot iron and her regret hastened,

For her curls indeed left, but so did her hair of auburn.

We all have to be careful with adapting this attitude towards change
That we may not become faceless hairless, heartless in the process

Well done
