The Wind of the SpiritA Poem by Melinda McQueenThe Wind of the Spirit
A rustle in the trees, A gentle sway. Calming waves escorting One along the way.
A warmth in the soul When the Presence is sent. How great it is to bask in The wind of the Spirit.
Like a breeze through the leaves, The Spirit kisses the depths of the soul. A refreshment like no other, Enveloping the heart, enabling it to grow.
May it ever move, Clutching onto it… Let it blow through you. The wind of the Spirit.
Reviving the lost heart, Pulling it from the darkness. A gentle nudge in times of need, Comfort in times of distress.
A touch of heaven, A sweet call… hear it? Keeping in heart… The wind of the Spirit.
