Rain in My SoulA Poem by Melinda McQueenRain in My Soul
Pouring out Thy blessings As Thy mercy clings. A showering of love That fills my cup.
Droplets are forming just off the cuff, Blessings await and have begun. I feel it falling… Rain in my soul, ever calling.
Opening closed doors, Thy hand has goodness in store. Flooding my life With Thy consuming Light.
Unleashing Thy power from the storehouse above, Thy grace has shown me unfailing love. I hear it rushing through… Rain in my soul, ever true.
Wash me clean with Thy rain, And from telling of Thy glory, let me not refrain. For I am in need of Thy Presence-- Of Thy Holy Spirit sent.
Come Lord, come, Let Thy will be done. This I long to show… That
my King reigns in my soul.
