The Snow AngelA Poem by Melinda McQueenThe Snow Angel
She played in the snow, Bundled against the cold. Her hopes high, To get it just right.
Tasting snowflakes on her tongue, Her journey had only begun. In the cold white, The snow angel soon to become a sight.
Spreading her arms as to the white did she cling, As there came to be angel wings. Praying a prayer, She lifted a heart filled with worldly cares.
Her dreams were big, She felt them deep within. With each stroke, The snow angel would unfold.
Taking shape, Her dreams were given a name. Steadily
making progress
Once complete, She stood to her feet To see what remained. The snow angel was named faith. © 2018 Melinda McQueenReviews
