Love UnwrappedA Poem by Melinda McQueenLove Unwrapped
It’s time to get out the pretty paper, Wrapping gifts gingerly That will be excitedly torn later With such ease.
Colorful designs grace The foot of the tree, Waiting the special day… Love unwrapped with glee.
Delivering Christ’s goodness and mercy All the day long To everyone we greet… His love song. Hearts filled with peace, Flowing to the brim. The power released, Love unwrapped in Him.
In every gift exchanged, Let us remember to do so In Jesus’s Name, With hearts aglow.
Respect, truth and loyalty Are gifts meant to be tapped. And the most precious of all is for hearts to be Love unwrapped. © 2017 Melinda McQueenReviews
