The Refuge of GodA Poem by Melinda McQueenThe Refuge of God
There’s no other place to taste The power of such grace. A tower of safety When the floods of life are many.
A harbor to run to When hard times we go through. A quiet still when the world is not-- The refuge of God.
A spring overflowing, A peace worth knowing. Like a crystal river, It flows from the Giver.
The most tender touch Sends deliverance in a rush Clearing every fog-- The refuge of God.
A fountain that never dries, As His mercy never hides. A Living Water… That is the Father.
With all of life’s bumps, We still have the triumph. For we stand on the Rock-- In the refuge of God.
