Resurrected King

 

The world stood still

As heavenly mountains moved.

In quiet awe, surrendered to God’s will

As His promise came true.

 

His love foretold

In giving everything.

For His power was to behold.

The Resurrected King.

 

A Peace in war,

A Conqueror in battle.

A Savior of our souls, our hearts,

A King who sin-shatters.

 

Having bowed His life,

He powerfully picked it up again

Love in sight,

The Resurrected King has no end.

 

His might was before time,

And His love lengthened time through all eternity.

His grace ever resides,

And so does His life-giving mercy.

 

Jesus is coming back soon,

The day all will sing

To the one true

Resurrected King.
