Hold My Heart

Hold My Heart

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Hold My Heart

The need of my soul

Lies in You.

Wherever I go,

Let me be in Your truth.

Though I’m sad

And lonely inside,

In times bad,

Hold my heart and be my guide.

I breathe in Your grace

As Your Spirit enfolds me.

I’m determined to face

Anything You allow to be.

Though it feels like wax

Melting within me,

It’s Your mercy I ask.

Hold my heart, Lord, I plea.

Filling me with Your love,

My soul cries Your Name.

In You, I am enough,

For Your heart You gave.

Though others leave me

In a state dark,

I know You will always be

The One who holds my heart.

you`re welcome
Out of curiousity, is there a reason why the last line is askew?
I enjoyed the flow, and everything seems in place except for the positioning of the last line. Wonderful read! Thank you for sharing!
