Up In The AirA Poem by Melinda McQueenUp In The Air
Feeling out of control With nowhere to go, The world keeps turning And the inner light keeps burning.
Floating on a thin breeze, Blown by a whisper at a soft keep. Things can be hard to bare And everything seems to be up in the air.
An invisible string pulled tight, I’m balancing on the line. Feeling the wind of life beat, Into it I lean.
All I want seems out of my reach, Still, I believe. I know God hears my prayer When I throw my hands up in the air.
In the night I call, Feeling my dreams with my all. Like a balloon bursting when reaching its heights, May my joy too, rise.
Let me find His grace In whatever I face. I’m trusting the Lord with my every care, Like the birds up in the air. © 2017 Melinda McQueenReviews
