Sweep Me to My FeetA Poem by Melinda McQueenSweep Me to My Feet
Lord, You know my desire, And that it never tires. The longing is deep As Your Word in my heart I keep.
I know I’m not the “model Christian”, And I mess up time and time again, But I trust and believe… Sweep me to my feet.
The road has been long, But still, to You I hold. Yes, I’m still holding to my faith In Your mercy and grace.
Give ear to my cry And hear me from on high. It’s You I seek… Sweep me to my feet.
To show and tell of Your power and love, Let me be a stewardess of Your grace thereof. Entrust in me such a glorious gift So that praise to You, others will give.
