Faithful Creator

 

Speaking the world into existence,

You breathed life with Your presence.

Setting it in motion

With such devotion.

Calming storms and quieting seas,

And this spirit within me.

For the tides rage,

Faithful Creator, You’re my grace.

 

Dotting the sky with stars,

Amazing in all You are.

Your wisdom holds the moon in place,

The Master of all time and space,

 

Giver of light,

Expelling darkness from Your sight.

Giver of peace,

Faithful Creator, I know You will heal me.

 

Though my heart is filled with pain,

I know, in it, You still reign.

No matter how I feel,

Your love is real.

 

The same God who hung the stars

Can create the dream of my heart.

I’m placing my heart, my life, in Your hands,

Faithful Creator, in You, I’ll stand.
