In My Savior's EarA Poem by Melinda McQueenIn My Savior’s Ear
Days dance in an uncertain breeze, Swaying to and fro. Compelling currents bring me to my spiritual knees, Seeking restoration and growth.
I call out through the rain Trying to calm my fears. Closing eyes from the pain, I’m in my Savior’s ear.
Tearing down strongholds, Blinded by worldly cares. I don’t fit the mold, Yes, I’m well aware.
Breathing in and out, I long to have Him near. Praying with a silent shout In my Savior’s ear.
For He’s in the still When no one else knows What I feel. He never leaves me alone.
Placing my hope in His hands, I know He hears As my cries land In my Savior’s ear. © 2017 Melinda McQueenReviews
