Conversation with GodA Poem by Melinda McQueenConversation with God
Me: God, why is everything so hard for me?
God: My grace is sufficient.
Me: Nothing goes my way. I always get let down.
God: Have I ever let you down?
Me:
Well… I prayed for something and it came true.
But then it was taken away. I thought it was from You, which makes it hurt more.
God: I’m here for you.
Me: Why do I feel alone? Why do I feel so weak?
God: My strength is made perfect in weakness.
Me: I’m hurt.
God: I’m your Healer.
Me: My heart is broken into a million tiny shards.
God: I’m nigh to the brokenhearted.
Me: Why can’t I be enough?
God: My child… I could ask you the same. © 2016 Melinda McQueenReviews
