In The Day

 

I praise You in the morning time

When all is bright.

I praise You in the afternoon

Whatever I’m going through.

 

You soothe my soul

As Your grace is known.

For You’re with me in every way

In the day.

 

Wiping the sleep from my eyes,

I know You are by my side

The day is new,

Another to spend with You.

 

At night You are with me,

As my spirit You Keep.

Ministering to my heart,

I’m never in the dark.

 

When I need Your mercy,

You hear when I weep.

Your faithfulness remains

In the day.
