Let Me Walk Upon the WatersA Poem by Melinda McQueenLet Me Walk Upon the Waters
To seek Your face, To find Your grace. To reach for Your hand, To strongly stand.
Let me not sink, And my faith not blink. Let me not wander, Let me walk upon the waters.
For though they are high And at times I feel I can’t survive, I call out to You To get me through.
I find that when I take my eyes off You, My spirit sinks beneath the circumstances I go through. So, help me Father, Let me walk upon the waters.
When trying in my own might, I lose the fight. The waters of life become so high That I struggle in fright.
Let me remember to look up and find Your grace, Calling on Your Name in all I face. I put my trust in You, the One who never falters, Let me walk upon the waters. © 2016 Melinda McQueenReviews
