Take it to JesusA Poem by Melinda McQueenTake it to Jesus
A heavy weight, A slow gait. Moving at a slow pace, Feeling out of place.
A bleeding heart, A calling through the dark. Unfolding your cares, Take it to Jesus in prayer.
A soul cries, A new hope to rise. Feeble attempts to handle things Only fail as anguish it brings.
A light in the way, A comforting stay. Surrendering your will, Take it to Jesus in the still.
A bowed heart in truth, A hope to get through. The Savior knows your name, As for you He came.
A love forever true, A merciful hand over all you do. So, when your life is in pieces, Take it to Jesus. © 2016 Melinda McQueenReviews
