Lady on WheelsA Poem by Melinda McQueenLady on Wheels
She feels strongly About things that take place. Her dreams are hers only, And no one could take them away.
Thriving for success On her own terms. Trying her best, Lady on wheels, catching every turn.
Seated lower than eye level, She is always looking up… And reaching is inevitable To fill her crystal cup.
She is learning to laugh through fear And stand strong, if only in her spirit. She is unafraid to shed tears. Lady on wheels, she knows how to steer it.
Traveling her unique path, She relies on her hope. With the wind at her back, She carries the load.
Rolling through life, She hopes to fulfill All the dreams she has inside. Lady on wheels. © 2016 Melinda McQueenReviews
