Feeding One AnotherA Poem by Melinda McQueenFeeding One Another
What a world this would be… If the heart was what we see. If the size of a person was measured by love, If the weight of life would could be prayed up.
Words could ease pain, Tears wiped away. If only we could love more, Feeding one another, what blessings in store.
More hope, less fear, More faith, less doubting leers. More giving, less taking, More truth, less faking.
What a world this world be… If we saw each other as perfectly unique. If we allowed our hearts to wonder, If we began feeding one another. Gifts we have been given Are spiritually driven; To be used to bless, Helping to relieve stress. To give of one’s self Is to give spiritual wealth. For we no longer hunger When feeding one another. © 2016 Melinda McQueenAuthor's Note
