A River Runs Through MeA Poem by Melinda McQueenA River Runs Through Me
Grace that sustains, Mercy that rains. Hope that lets me believe, Love that sets me free.
A flow ongoing, A stream in the sowing. A gentle peace, A river runs through me.
Unleashed power much bigger than I, Yet, on the inside of me it resides. Flowing through my soul Is the Holy Ghost.
Like a wind fills a sail, And my lungs fill with air… My heart is at ease, A river runs through me.
A love ever a stream, Nothing could ever diminish its strength. Rushing through and through Is a powerful truth.
Undeserving am I, But thanks be to Christ Who sets me free, A river runs through me. © 2016 Melinda McQueenReviews
