Scenes of My LifeA Poem by Melinda McQueenScenes of My Life
A clip here and there, A bit of care. Like a movie playing in my mind, Scenes of my life.
When I’m alone, I close my eyes and a show of my own Comes into view, A story true.
Like a roll of film, I vividly remember them. As I hold memories tight, Scenes of my life.
I hope to live life in such a way That it will be a movie I replay And feel the love once more Of the people I adore.
Dreams in motion Will someday become waves in the ocean. So let me open wide my eyes And live the scenes of my life. © 2016 Melinda McQueenReviews
