God Shines

God Shines

 

God shines blessings upon me,

Instilling in my heart His peace.

What a glorious God I serve,

May I worship Him in deed and in word.

 

As surely as the river flows,

So does my heart He knows.

For He answers prayer

With tender care.

 

God shines His grace

When troubles I face.

Gently, He leads me

As His Spirit feeds me.

 

In times of blessings

My soul to Him sings.

In times of despair

May I praise the One who cares.

 

For the God of my heart

Has led me from the dark,

I hope I live my life

In a way that God shines.
