Risen to LifeA Poem by Melinda McQueenRisen to Life
He came to save, Living a life He ultimately gave. Sinless, He took our sins And brought death to its end. With true love in His heart, He fulfilled His part. Obedient to the cross, He knew the cost.
Taken from the Father, He was the Living Water. True to the Word, Risen to life, our Lord. Love perfected, Eternal life protected. Glorious Savior and King, Giver of every good thing.
Once without hope, Now there’s a forever Home. Once dead in sin, Now there’s life born again.
Coming boldly before the throne of grace, Thanks be to God who rolled the stone away. Because Jesus is alive, We too, can be risen to life. © 2016 Melinda McQueenReviews
