Atop The Sunset

 

A destination to aim for

Something much more.

A state of being

All your heart is seeing.

 

Believing you have what it takes

To give your dreams a say.

Even doors you thought would never open again,

Once more become the sunset you imagined.

 

The time comes along,

And suddenly your dream is your own.

The tide parts

And the sun begins to shine in your heart.

 

As its colors fill the sky,

Wide and high,

It shines its light

In due time.

 

When you have reached as far as you can,

Just grab on to God and His plan.

There you will find

That you’re atop the sunset of the Divine.
