Tomorrow's Grace

Tomorrow's Grace

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Tomorrow’s Grace

A shining light,

A beacon of hope.

A gallant knight,
A golden road.

We all want to feel safe,

To feel loved completely.

With spread wings, soaring is our faith

That someday all will be set free.

Peace will be known,

Anger will be no more.

Love will forever bestow,

Hate, no longer in store.

Rather…

A light will shine,

A hope will come.

A Knight will arrive,

A road to His Kingdom

Moving onward in His grace,

There’s no need to worry about tomorrow.

For in all we face,

God’s strength is always there to borrow.

Thank you for stopping by and leaving your much appreciated review. Be blessed.
In a poem which speaks in the vein of millenarism, you have managed to create a panorama of promise and idyllic values. The meter is free, just like the intent of the verse, the flow is uplifting, just as you meant to be.

I congratulate you for bringing out a poem which caters to hope, freedom and virtue.

Faithfully,
M.

I get a feeling of being protected by elegant power. This is a very powerful piece and could be a song, a hymn or a prayer of course.
