The Gift in a Little BabyA Poem by Melinda McQueen
The Gift in a Little Baby Placed inside, Curled up, in the world to reside. The answer to life’s plea Came in a little baby.
Every blessing born The day the world was adorned With the fulfillment of God’s love. Love from above.
His dreams big, The world of sin and death. The gift in a little baby’s breath.
His plan fulfilled When pure love was born at His will. Soft and warm, He came into the seizing storm.
Yet He was strong and true, Love through and through. The Savior of the world was come, And His beautiful redeeming life begun.
Now the believer can rejoice evermore, As everlasting life is in store.
Placed inside, Curled up, the Holy Spirit resides. The answer to every heart’s plea… The gift in a little baby, Christ the King! © 2015 Melinda McQueenReviews
