When Love Was Birthed

Hope came down

When none could be found.

A light shone

To someday bring us Home.

 

A baby perfected in truth

Came to save me and you.

A gift from heaven,

When love was birthed, having no end.

 

In dark of night,

God revealed His might.

In sending the Christ,

The Savior of all time.

 

Grace fully come,

God’s will done.

Mercy was sent from the Throne

When love was birthed, He came for His own.

 

Heaven opened and poured out

Its glory all around.

For many wanted to see

The newborn Baby.

 

The angels began to sing

As they celebrated the King.

Blessed was the whole earth,

When Love was birthed.
