Sea OverturnedA Poem by Melinda McQueenThe waters move From border to border. Strong and magnificently true, Forcing its way in its order.
A self-motivation drives It onward to its destiny. The waves slow at times, Sea overturned, it feels the defeat.
At other times, it’s thrown to and fro, Which seems to be chaos. Still, it chooses not to let go, Roaring at all cost.
The heart knows the storm Which invades every part. Sounding the alarm, Sea overturned, still, it has a start.
Emotions flood through, Assaulting every sense. Though the heart breaks, it remains true To love in every tense.
For though the years flow on, In the heart they ever burn. The heart still holds on Even in a sea overturned. © 2015 Melinda McQueenReviews
