A Dove in His Hand

A Dove in His Hand

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Flying solo through life,

Searching for my way.

Heavy is the strife

That seems to be my stay.

Though the wind blows,

It catches not my sail.

I can’t do it on my own,

A dove in His hand, I am frail.

Lean I on Him,

For He protects me

As a precious gem.

The Lord Holy.

As the sky is vast,

So too, are His plans.

I shall never lack,

I’m a dove in His hand.

A beautiful poem about hope and faith, the second I have read today. We all need more of this, though through personal experiences my life has been changed by His love. I am glad to have finally found this peace that I have been longing for. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful piece and have a great day.
