Just Another DayA Poem by Melinda McQueenThe shining of the sun Tells of a new day that has begun. A new breath in the timeless shade Of just another day.
A peace in the inner soul Leads me to a higher goal. A calm instills, Whispering its will.
Closed curtains open, Revealing my dreams have only deepened. A lofty wind blows my way, But I’m soon reminded it’s just another day.
The Lilies spring to life, And so too do the birds arrive. The sun abundantly shines With arms of warmth during summertime
Living the best I know, While in this world I cope. Here I am filling this lonely page… Content in just another day. © 2015 Melinda McQueenReviews
