A Rainbow Sky

 

Many colors on display,

All coming together as one.

To blend they haste,

For each need all to come.

 

Gathering just after a rain

Way up high,

To fill the sky with beauty.

A rainbow sky.

 

Meeting in the heavens,

With a purpose and a plan.

God’s promises never end,

But forever stand.

 

Pulling together,

The colors unite.

Showing His grace forever,

A rainbow sky.

 

Delighting a blue sky

Which was once grey,

Beauty fills the eye

On a dreary day.

 

Many colors we display.

What if we all came together as one might?

To blend every heart… every race

As a rainbow sky.

Very nice. I liked the way you added the colors of the rainbow and the format. I agree with the message you are giving here. Being united as one is very important. Usually ivision is what causes wars to break.
"What if we all came together as one might?" A question I believe many of us ask.

Love the rainbow and His promise. Once driving in the light rain it looked like the rainbow bounced off of the hood of our vehicle. That sight was awesome. Valentine

Melinda; It is gorgeous and your imagination, the scene you painted is beautiful - I could visualize the flurry of colors, coming into to display, saying hurry, hurry, lets blend together, we need to be one, in heart and soul, in understanding and love for all to see; already knowing the beauty and happiness they will receive by giving to others, just as your prayer, as God, whomever, God may be to anyone wishes we would be; the flow is fantastic; calm words, pleasing to my mind, and any reader, the message is one that certainy needs to be heard...The metaphor of a rainbow is very creative.
