You I MissA Poem by Melinda McQueenDays stretch into each other, Soon a month topples another. Then years crowd before I know it. You I miss.
Memories assault my mind in droves, As on and on they go. A beam of light in shadows of grey, As tears assault my face.
When sadness fills my heart I can’t help but wonder just where you are. Though I know you’re in a better place, In my heart is where you stay. Feeling lonely and blue, I’m forced to live without you. You were the truth to my wish… You I miss.
Come… come to me In beautiful dreams. For it’s you I want to see… Me with you and you with me.
Time with you Was ever true. You I cherish… You I miss. © 2015 Melinda McQueenReviews
