The Secret Life of MeA Poem by Melinda McQueenThere’s a place I go-- A place all my own. Taking nothing but my heart, I can see in the dark.
Riding a stallion of white, I remove myself from life’s plight. It’s there I’m free… The secret life of me.
There’s a place I go-- A place where all I touch is gold. Where I can hold All my heart bestows.
In this place I can walk the steepest hill And do all the things my heart wills. I’m all I desire to be… In the secret life of me
There’s a place I go-- A place where all I know Is answered prayers Coming to fruition on wings of care.
In this place I can soar high, Where I can take flight. This place is my heart filled with dreams… The secret life of me. © 2015 Melinda McQueenReviews
