Dear Love,

Dear Love,

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Dear love,

Far above.

How you came,

How you gave.

You filled my life,

Not only filling my mind,
But filling my heart

With a fiery spark.

Dear Love,

You were more than enough.

Opening your well,

Pouring over me… how my heart did melt.

You came strong,

And I wasn’t alone.

But who knew your smile would fade

And your life taken away?

Dear Love,

I miss you so much.

Though I wish you were here…

One thing is clear…

You’re still in my heart

Even in times dark.

Dear Love,

Your memory is my dream come.

You’re the love I had hoped for…

The love I will always adore.

Sincerely,

Melinda

So beautiful... so powerful... and yes... how those we love deeply stay with us forever... how they never quite let go... Your words are like a song of love and light...
