Dear Love,

Dear Love,

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Dear love,

Far above.

How you came,

How you gave.

You filled my life,

Not only filling my mind,
But filling my heart

With a fiery spark.

Dear Love,

You were more than enough.

Opening your well,

Pouring over me… how my heart did melt.

You came strong,

And I wasn’t alone.

But who knew your smile would fade

And your life taken away?

Dear Love,

I miss you so much.

Though I wish you were here…

One thing is clear…

You’re still in my heart

Even in times dark.

Dear Love,

Your memory is my dream come.

You’re the love I had hoped for…

The love I will always adore.

Sincerely,

Melinda

Thank you so much!
Man, I was like this a long time ago. I came back from the U.S and really like a girl from over there, but now she's only a memory... and sometimes I remember how much I used to loved her but they're just memories... and keep telling myself: You can't live in the past, you need to live in the present.
Indeed people whom we really love area always in our hearts... but yet, we always carry hope that we will someday meet them again.
Amazing write my friend, you did an incrdible job writing this one.
