The Sin DiseaseA Poem by Melinda McQueenIt sucks the life out As darkness crowds. Spinning out of control, Yet few even know.
It robs happiness And adds stress. Killing the soul, The sin disease bestows.
Ravishing heart, soul, mind, Light it cannot find. Devouring every moment Until there is no vent.
It separates and hides From the revealing light. Taking residence and space, The sin disease makes haste.
Strangling the spirit So the Light cannot come near it.
But behold, the Light has come In the Holy One. Seek Jesus while He may be found, Lest in darkness you drown. The Rescuer is the only remedy For the sin disease. © 2015 Melinda McQueenReviews
