![]() LIfe WavesA Poem by Melinda McQueenThe waves toss to and fro, Rolling in the deepest folds. Releasing its glory, It tells of a story.
Running wild and free, Still aware of its lead. The ocean wails As not to fail.
In its heartbeat Lies the inner retreat. For it’s not the journey, As much as it is destiny.
Life has a funny way In getting one to a certain state. Quite often it splashes As the lightning flashes.
The meaning of the sea’s existence Is wrapped in the essence Of what one believes And not what one sees.
To reach the shore One must implore All this life has to offer. So, think it over.
